T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 ICS Update 4.0.3

Behold, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 owners!!! The long awaited day has come upon you. T-Mobile has pushed an Ice-Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S2. The Update has been pushed out via Kies, which could be downloaded here. It’s set to bring about many improvements and features to the table. Below are some of the improvements, which one would see after updating the device.

As listed on Google’s ICS page here, the improvements are as follows:

  • Home screen folders and favorites tray
  • Resizable widgets
  • New lock screen actions
  • Quick responses for incoming calls
  • Swipe to dismiss notifications, tasks, and browser tabs
  • Improved text input and spell-checking

  • Unified calendar, visual voicemail
  • Redesigned Gallery app with photo editor
  • Live Effects for transforming video
  • Sharing with screenshots
  • Cloud-connected experience
  • More powerful web browsing (with desktop page display)

  • Face Unlock
  • Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth HDP

Pleas note that some of these fectures may be masked with the Samsung TouchWiz interface. The update is still pretty fresh and more information will be coming soon.
